My vocal career began in musical theater and progressed to leading roles in plays by Stoppard and Albee. I have directed at the Edinburgh Fringe Festival and was a Non-Executive Director of an English provincial theater. My voice is warm,  melodious and soothing. I have natural verbal fluency and intonation, as well as solid vocal stamina. My main career has been in medical academia, which has given me excellent facility with technical scientific language. I have travelled widely and interacted with people from many walks of life and different cultural backgrounds. I am an omnivorous reader, and something of an obsessional book buyer: I enjoy history, economics, science, and a wide range of fiction. My hobbies have included aerobatics, horse riding, boating and photography. I am now excited to use my vocal skills to bring text to life.
